UpSpring assisted to meet capital needs and contributed with business consulting for the opening of their new location. Efforts led to raising more than $100 million in investment over three years.
Electric Playhouse Albuquerque based tech company focused on immersive technologies. Opening a family friendly location for fun, games, food and adventure, then going nation-wide.
Fetch Santa Fe based delivery service for anything, anywhere. Helping local small businesses to get connected and offering concierge. Headed to Boulder next.
Sea to Table For Sea to Table, a fish purveyor linking small-scale, sustainable fisheries to markets, UpSpring consultants prepared materials for debt and equity financing and developed a detailed approach to investors resulting in $1million in financing.

International Development

VSO International For VSO International, UpSpring provided a comprehensive program evaluation covering 20 countries including field visits to Nigeria and Laos.

Save the Children Contributed to engagements in Ethiopia, Indonesia and seven other countries. Past work includes impact measurement for private sector engagement and extensive program work with marginalized populations affected by war, disease and hunger.

Community Building

Village of Questa Together with Petroglyphs on the Rio Grande, UpSpring developed an Economic Development Strategy for the Village of Questa in Northern New Mexico in response to the closure of the largest employer in the region.

Spirit Lake Tribe Funded by EPA, with ICF & AOS Architects: consultants led economic development opportunities for recovery from repeated lake flooding.

Ohkay Owingeh Housing Authority
Ohkay Owingeh Housing Authority Expanding capacity of Ohkay Owingeh Housing Authority to raise final $3 million in funds to rehabilitate houses in its historic plaza, the heart of the community.


Chimera Meow Wolf’s non-profit education initiative fills a critical gap for youth education, offering innovative arts training and opportunities for kids from all backgrounds to develop job-ready digital skills. Chimera leverages the immense talent and expertise behind the House of Eternal Return to provide an unprecedented resource for arts education in New Mexico. Drew Tulchin served as Treasurer of the Board.

Breath of My Heart For Breath of My Heart, a community-based midwifery practice in northern New Mexico, UpSpring performed an extensive feasibility study as part of a USDA rural business development program.

Environmental Defense Fund On a team, developed a regional plan with 20 partners for supporting environmentally sustainable economic opportunities for low-income populations. Collective efforts secured $5 million in funding for programs and implementation.
